Who These Terms Apply To

These terms apply to all visitors to sannankhan.com and all individuals who book, pay for, or participate in clarity coaching sessions with Sannan Khan. Section 02

What Clarity Coaching Is and Is Not

Clarity coaching IS: A structured, educational conversation designed to help you understand a complex situation more clearly, identify the real problem beneath the visible one, map your options, and decide on a next step. It is a thinking partnership — not a treatment, not a professional service, and not a substitute for qualified professional support.

Clarity coaching is expressly NOT:

  • Therapy, counselling, or psychotherapy. Sannan Khan is not a licensed therapist, counsellor, or psychotherapist. Sessions do not constitute mental health treatment.
  • Clinical psychology or psychiatric services. No clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment is offered or implied.
  • Legal advice. Nothing discussed in sessions constitutes legal advice. For legal matters — including but not limited to divorce, custody, contracts, or employment — consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
  • Financial advice. Nothing in sessions constitutes regulated financial advice. For investment, tax, or financial planning matters, consult a qualified financial advisor.
  • Religious rulings or fatwas. For Islamic or religious guidance on marriage, divorce, or other matters, consult a qualified scholar of your faith tradition.
  • Medical advice. Nothing in sessions constitutes medical advice. For health concerns, consult a qualified medical professional.
  • Emergency or crisis support. Sessions are not suitable for individuals in crisis. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, domestic danger, or suicidal thoughts, please contact emergency services in your country immediately.

By booking a session, you confirm that you understand and accept this distinction.

Section 03

Services

sannankhan.com currently offers the following clarity coaching sessions:

  • Marriage Clarity Session (90 minutes): A structured conversation to map a relationship situation, identify what is actually happening, and determine a next step. Not couples therapy.
  • Career & Direction Clarity Session (90 minutes): A structured conversation to map your professional identity, strengths, and direction. Not employment advice.
  • Business & Opportunity Focus Session (90 minutes): A structured conversation to filter your opportunity pipeline and identify priorities. Not financial advice.

All sessions are conducted online via video call. Session dates and times are confirmed at the time of booking. Sessions are conducted in English.

Sannan Khan reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue services at any time with reasonable notice.

Section 04

Booking and Payment

  • Sessions are booked through the booking tool on sannankhan.com. A booking is confirmed only once payment is received in full.
  • Fees are displayed at the time of booking and are quoted in the currency shown at checkout.
  • Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. By completing payment, you also agree to the payment provider's terms of service.
  • All fees are exclusive of any taxes or duties applicable in your country. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase under your local law.
  • Sessions are personal to the booked individual and may not be transferred to another person without prior written agreement.
Section 05

Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation with 48+ hours notice: You may cancel or reschedule a session with at least 48 hours notice at no charge. One reschedule per session is permitted.
  • Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice: Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice are forfeited and are not eligible for refund or reschedule, except in genuine emergencies at Sannan Khan's sole discretion.
  • No-shows: If you do not attend a booked session and have not notified us in advance, the session is forfeited with no refund.
  • Cancellation by Sannan Khan: If we need to cancel a session, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer a full reschedule or refund of the session fee.

  • Sessions cancelled by client with less than 48 hours notice: No refund is available, except in genuine documented emergencies at Sannan Khan's sole discretion.
  • Sessions cancelled by Sannan Khan: Full refund issued within 7 business days.
  • Multi-session packages: If a package has been started (at least one session attended), no refund is available for unused sessions in the package. If no sessions have been attended, a full refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase.
  • Refunds are processed via the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank or card provider.
Section 07

Confidentiality

What we keep confidential

All information shared by you during or in relation to a clarity session is treated as strictly confidential. Sannan Khan will not disclose your identity, the content of your sessions, or any personal information to any third party without your explicit written consent.

Exceptions to confidentiality

Confidentiality may be broken in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Where there is a credible risk of serious harm to you or another person that cannot be managed within the coaching relationship.
  • Where disclosure is required by applicable law or a valid court order.
  • Where you provide explicit written consent to share specific information.

In such circumstances, Sannan Khan will, where possible, inform you before any disclosure is made.

Your confidentiality obligations

The frameworks, methods, documents, and approaches shared during sessions are the intellectual property of Sannan Khan. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use them without prior written permission. See Section 9 (Intellectual Property).

Section 08

Client Responsibilities

By booking and participating in a clarity session, you agree to:

  • Engage honestly and in good faith in sessions.
  • Attend sessions at the scheduled time or provide adequate notice if you cannot.
  • Ensure you have a reliable internet connection and a private, quiet space for video sessions.
  • Take responsibility for any decisions or actions you make as a result of sessions. Clarity coaching informs your thinking — it does not make decisions for you.
  • Not misrepresent sessions as therapy, medical treatment, or professional advice to others.
  • Inform Sannan Khan if you are currently receiving mental health treatment, so sessions can be appropriately framed and professional care is not disrupted.
  • Immediately seek emergency support if you experience a crisis and not rely on coaching sessions as emergency support.
Section 09

Intellectual Property

All content on sannankhan.com — including but not limited to articles, frameworks, the Clarity Map, session materials, the Marriage Systems Framework, the 3-Project Rule, the Direction Clarity System, the Decision Without Guilt Framework, and all other named or unnamed frameworks and written content — is the intellectual property of Sannan Khan.

You may:

  • Use downloaded resources (such as the Clarity Map PDF) for your own personal use.
  • Share links to articles on sannankhan.com.
  • Quote short excerpts with clear attribution to Sannan Khan and a link to sannankhan.com.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, or publish any content from sannankhan.com without prior written permission.
  • Use any framework or methodology in commercial coaching, training, or consulting without a licence agreement.
  • Present any of Sannan Khan's frameworks or content as your own work.

Requests for licensing or permission: hello@sannankhan.com

Section 10

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Sannan Khan's total liability for any claim arising from the use of sannankhan.com or a clarity coaching session is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific session or service that gave rise to the claim.
  • Sannan Khan is not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from your use of the website or coaching sessions — including but not limited to losses arising from decisions made following sessions.
  • Clarity coaching involves structured thinking conversations. Any decisions you make based on insights gained in sessions are entirely your own responsibility.
  • Sannan Khan makes no representations about the suitability of coaching for your specific circumstances.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Section 11

No Guarantee of Results

Clarity coaching does not guarantee specific outcomes. The effectiveness of any coaching engagement depends on your active participation, honesty, and the decisions and actions you take following sessions. Sannan Khan cannot and does not guarantee that sessions will resolve your situation, save your marriage, improve your career, grow your business, or produce any specific result. The goal of sessions is to help you think more clearly — what you do with that clarity is your responsibility.

Section 12

Termination

Either party may end a coaching engagement at any time. If you wish to end a booked series of sessions, contact us at bookings@sannankhan.com. Refund eligibility is governed by Section 6.

Sannan Khan reserves the right to decline or terminate a coaching relationship at any time if:

  • The sessions are clearly outside the scope of clarity coaching (e.g. a situation requiring emergency or clinical intervention).
  • You engage in abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour toward Sannan Khan.
  • You breach these terms.

In such cases, a pro-rata refund for unused sessions will be issued at Sannan Khan's discretion.

Section 13

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any dispute arising from these terms or from a clarity coaching session will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rwanda.

Dispute resolution process

Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through the following process:

  • Step 1 — Direct communication: Contact hello@sannankhan.com with a clear description of your concern. We will respond within 5 business days.
  • Step 2 — Mediation: If direct communication does not resolve the matter within 30 days, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing court action.
  • Step 3 — Legal proceedings: If mediation fails, either party may pursue their legal remedies in the courts of Rwanda.

⚠ If you are in immediate danger or crisis

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, suicidal thoughts, domestic danger, or any situation requiring urgent intervention — please stop and contact emergency services in your country immediately.

Clarity coaching sessions are not equipped to handle crisis situations and should not be used as a substitute for emergency support. Please reach out to a qualified professional, a trusted person in your life, or your local emergency services first.

Section 01

What Clarity Coaching Is — and What It Is Not

Understanding this distinction is essential before booking any session. Clarity coaching is a structured, educational, and conversational process. It is specifically not a regulated professional service.

✓ Coaching IS

A structured thinking partnership that helps you see a complex situation more clearly, identify the real problem underneath the visible one, and decide on a next step.

✓ Coaching IS

An educational and reflective process. Sessions use structured questions and frameworks to help you organise your own thinking — not to tell you what to do.

✓ Coaching IS

A forward-focused conversation. Sessions look at where you are, what is actually happening, and what your next move might be — not at diagnosing or treating the past.

✓ Coaching IS

Entirely your responsibility. Insights from sessions inform your thinking. Every decision and action you take remains entirely your own choice and your own responsibility.

✗ Coaching is NOT therapy

Sannan Khan is not a licensed therapist, counsellor, or psychotherapist. Sessions do not constitute mental health treatment, clinical intervention, or therapeutic care.

✗ Coaching is NOT clinical psychology

No clinical assessment, psychological diagnosis, or psychiatric evaluation is offered, implied, or appropriate in a clarity coaching session.

✗ Coaching is NOT legal advice

Nothing discussed in sessions constitutes legal advice. For divorce, custody, contracts, employment, or any other legal matter, consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.

✗ Coaching is NOT financial advice

No investment, tax, pension, business valuation, or regulated financial guidance is provided. For financial matters, consult a qualified financial advisor.

✗ Coaching is NOT religious ruling

Sessions do not provide fatwa, Islamic rulings, or guidance from any religious authority. For religious guidance, consult a qualified scholar in your faith tradition.

✗ Coaching is NOT medical advice

No medical diagnosis, treatment, or health advice is offered. For any health or medical concern, consult a qualified medical professional.

Section 02

Service-Specific Disclaimers

Marriage Clarity Sessions

Marriage Clarity Sessions are structured conversations to help you understand what is happening in a relationship situation and identify your options. They are not couples therapy, marriage counselling, family therapy, or clinical intervention. They do not provide legal advice about divorce, separation, or custody. They do not provide religious rulings about the permissibility of divorce or remarriage. Sannan Khan does not make decisions about whether your marriage should continue or end — that is your decision alone.

If you or your partner are experiencing domestic abuse, coercive control, threats, or physical danger, please contact your local domestic abuse support services before booking a session. Do not use coaching as a substitute for safety planning or professional crisis intervention.

Career & Direction Clarity Sessions

Career Clarity Sessions are structured conversations to help you understand your professional strengths, patterns, and possible directions. They are not employment advice, recruitment services, CV review, professional qualification assessment, or legal advice about employment contracts, redundancy, or discrimination. Any career decisions you make following a session are entirely your own responsibility.

Business & Opportunity Focus Sessions

Business Focus Sessions are structured conversations to help you prioritise your opportunities and reduce scattered focus. They are not financial advice, business valuation, investment recommendations, accounting, tax advice, or legal business counsel. Any business decisions you make following a session are entirely your own responsibility.

Section 03

When to Seek Professional Support Instead

Clarity coaching may not be the right first step if any of the following apply. Please seek qualified professional support in these situations:

Seek a mental health professional if:

  • You are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, or other mental health conditions that are significantly affecting your daily functioning.
  • You are having thoughts of self-harm or suicide.
  • You are currently in or recently left an abusive relationship.
  • You are experiencing psychosis, severe dissociation, or loss of contact with reality.
  • You are dependent on alcohol, substances, or harmful behaviors in ways that are affecting your life.

Seek a lawyer if:

  • You are going through a legal divorce, separation, or custody dispute.
  • You have received legal threats, notices, or court documents.
  • You need advice about contract, employment, or business law.
  • You are facing immigration or residency issues.

Seek a financial advisor if:

  • You need advice on investments, savings, pensions, or financial planning.
  • You are facing significant debt, bankruptcy, or insolvency.
  • You need business valuation, tax structuring, or regulated financial guidance.

Seek a religious scholar if:

  • You need a religious ruling (fatwa) on marriage, divorce, or any other matter governed by your faith.
  • You need guidance that is grounded in religious law or doctrine.
Section 04

No Guarantee of Results

Clarity coaching is a thinking process, not a solution delivery service. The value of any session depends on your honesty, engagement, and the quality of the thinking you bring to it. Sannan Khan makes no representation or guarantee that sessions will:

  • Save or improve your marriage or relationship.
  • Resolve career dissatisfaction or secure you a new role.
  • Grow your business, close your deals, or increase your income.
  • Produce any specific emotional, financial, relational, or professional outcome.

The goal of a clarity session is to help you see your situation more clearly. What you do with that clarity is your decision and your responsibility.

Section 05
